From a while ago. I wonder what your reaction would have been: Thank you, Mr Haigh, for all the help youve given me over the years. For helping my husband and me to find the house we bought all those years ago, and for helping the sale to go through. Thanks, too, for being so supportive when my late husband passed away and for not charging me anything to provide a valuation of my house for probate. And more recently for being so supportive again when I discussed with you the idea of me moving in with my daughter until suitable accommodation crops up for me, now that Im in my dotage. Oh, and thanks for coming around the other week to provide me with an up-to-date valuation of my house, but then not hassling me or putting me under pressure to sell. Youve been really wonderful. Well, youll be delighted to hear that Ive sold the house privately. Someone pushed a note through my door, I contacted them, and theyre happy to pay the price you suggested. Isnt that great, Mr Haigh?
