Given our geographical situation, should we not be considering the establishment of a regional mobile triage facility to isolate patients and medical personnel from land-based human settlements? Isnt it conceivable that such a floating hospital plying regional waters, can be equipped with all the requisite emergency life support services, equipment and medical supplies to ensure that it can remain safely offshore for extended periods of time until a threat can be brought under control? Shouldnt we be considering the most expedient, cost-effective and pragmatic joint-approach? Just thinking aloud...
