From another Police Wife: So let me get this straight...our media is covering the funeral of a thug, who died the way he lived, and the White house is sending 3 representatives to attend the funeral. My question is, where was the media, & white house representatives during the funerals of ANY of the 65 Law Enforcement officers that were killed in the LOD this year? Where was the national uproar on May 30th when Officer Brian Jones gave his life the way he LIVED his life, protecting and serving?! Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Al Capone, John Wayne, Michael Brown...these are household names. They all lived a life of crime, yet how many of these names do you recognize? Michael Pimentel, Joseph Dunn, Mark Hecker, Scott Patrick, Christopher Goodell, Melvin Santiago, Jeffrey Westerfield, Perry Renn, Jacob Calvin, Allen Bares, Lee Dixon, Scott Hewell, Igor Soldo, Alyn Beck, Daryl Kevin Jordan, Brian Jones, Paul Buckles, Christopher Skinner, Frank McKnight, Alexander Giannini! Those are the names of less than HALF of the officers whove laid their lives down this year alone! Lets start giving all the attention to the people who truly deserve it!
