From another TripAdvisor reviewer: We were met by Jean and Doug at the shack next to the dock where the boats are and welcomed. The pontoon boat was stable and comfortable with room to move around depending on what we saw. When we saw interesting critters Jean managed to pull the boat in as close as she could without disturbing them or grounding the boat. Several times she reversed a fair distance to provide a view of something she or Doug or a passenger had seen. We saw a broad variety of birds you would hope to see on a tropical waterway as well as alligators of all sizes, copperhead snakes and several manatees. One swam right alongside the boat and another was so busy feeding that it never noticed as the boat pulled within several feet of it. They provided cold bottled water for everyone. Both were very friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the wildlife, the history and people of the area.
