From another great supporter! Hi guys and gals! Obviously via Facebook, my name is Phil, and my younger brother Wes is a contracted (through a private company, Diamond Fire out of Medford, Oregon) wildland firefighter. He is currently out on disability after knee surgery from an injury sustained while doing brush work (I think, it all runs together! Haha). He is only 26 years old, and had many knee injuries already, this being his first surgery. Myself, I am a automotive technician in the SF bay area. I race my little pickup truck (yep, who does that?!) in what is commonly called Autocross, or properly known as Solo, with the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). In June I have two national level events, two weekends in a row, where I will be covering my truck in sponsors logos and logos of charities and such that I want to support at this level of competition. I asked him what he suggested I support for his firefighting, and he said YOU! He mentioned that you may send me some decals/stickers that I could use for these events (and maybe longer term!). Im not asking for money at all, (though itd help, this is not my request) I just want to support an organization so close to my brother and his life. Thanks ahead of time, and please let me know what we can do! Here is a shot from this weekends your in Crows Landing CA. Hope your decals on my truck get you more support. Many firefighters noticed them.
