From azpet: Over the past 6 years of my life, i have been in a dj duo called Azmac! I have experienced some amazing things, got to see a lot of the country for free and had some unforgettable nights with some of the best people! I remember macca taking me to tfu when i was 17 (2007) to watch “orkestrated”, and hearing them play their remix of lollipop - lil wayne and the hairs all over my body stood up and from then on i was hooked! A couple of other examples of pivotable moments along the way was seeing Heath Renata play deadmau5’s not exactly with the home acapella at summadayze 2008 and thinking that it doesn’t get any better than this!! or Having kizzam’s first mixtape on repeat and hunting the one love forums for every track in it! or hearing renata’s blaue moschee and saying to myself this is as good as the ‘MELBOURNE SOUND’ will ever get haha. Jeeeeeesus so many good memories! But as some of you know, in january, I am going to be taking a break from DJing in melbourne! I have bought a ticket to Europe and have decided i need to go see the world whilst I’m still youthful enough to enjoy it! I am nothing but grateful for the past half decade and appreciate everyone who has given us the opportunity to get to where we are today! There are so many people who id like to thank, ranging from Macca!!! to managers, club owners, fellow dj’s and every club patron who has come to see us play along the years! you all know who you are I’d especially like to thank my mates from high school, who have put up with me having to leave them every weekend for (which can hardly be described as) ‘work’! I have missed so many birthdays and partys and that sometimes can be really hard! I am not saying that i am quiting Azmac,and by no means is this the end of azmac! macca will still be pushing the brand as hard as he can whilst im gone. Besides, knowing me, i may only be gone for 3-6 months who knows! haha. But I cant wait to get out there and see Europe, then come back with an open mind and hopefully get some inspiration to take azmac to the next level with macca! THANK YOU EVERYONE
