From da MOKE Corner: This Vote No on the Maui County Farming Ban is no more than a propaganda stunt by Pro-GMO Supporters to stop Mauis first-ever citizens initiative to be placed on this Novembers Ballot. Big Corporations (Ag) and the Maui Farm Bureau appear to be missing the point (at best) and/or just dont prioritize human lives/survival above profit making. Really....it is that simple. Fearmongering the public, the people that will pay with their health and lives should this initiative fail as a result of these type of campaigning designed/INTENDED to hoodwink you is unconscionable, to say the least. FACT: This initiative when PASSED at the ballots will be the FIRST-Step for our Island community to emerge from an obsolete 19th Century mindset to a productive, all-inclusive and THRIVING enterprise that benefits ALL beyond our borders and BEYOND our generation. Dont be hoodwinked! YOU DECIDE! VOTE YES PAU!
