From exploreseiowa: Pekin won the Class B division (11 teams) of the Mount Pleasant boys track meet last night with a score of 152 and a half. Coming in 1st were Chase Copeland the 100, Eric Adam the shot put, Jared Bond the discus, Austin Fariss the 1600, Malcolm Myers the 3200, the medley relay made up by C. Copeland, Brody Long, Christian Wittrock and Cade Millikin, the 4 by 200 of C. Copeland, Long, Wittrock and Tyler Copeland plus the 4 by 800 featuring C. Millikin, Ryan Millikin, Fariss and Cole Reighard. They had 2nds from Colton Lanman the high jump, T. Copeland the 200 and the 4 by 100 of C. Copeland, Long, Wittrock and T. Copeland. Cardinal was 2nd of 11 totaling 84 points. Congrats to the Pekin boys! I know there were several PRs ran last night and everyone competed at a new level! This was a really fun meet to watch. :) Individual girls events results not yet available but I know that they won their meet also! Way to go girls!!
