From my Inbox.... Hello Mum Rose, I have been a member of the facebook church for a year now and am blessed each and every moment I read those posts and encouragements though not active. They have kept me going and I thank God. How I pray that God continues to give you and the other administrators the grace to continue the good work. Remain blessed. I have a testimony that am sure will encourage someone and would like to share it with you so you could post it for me. Am a 21year old lady, born again. Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. Praise be to His Name. I got born again in the year 2005 when I was 12 and in deed God has been faithful. I sat my KCSE and was lucky to gain direct entry into a public university in Kenya and surprisingly by April this year I was done and am due to graduate December this year. I found myself on a crush program which until now I understand was the plan of God. At the beginning of this year when I reported for my final semester on campus my prayer was that I get a job by end of this year. I did not care whether I would have graduated or not coz I know papers are nothing without God. God is able to give me a job whether I may have graduated or not. After completion I have indeed been up and down sending my CV all over but none has yielded fruit. I have gone on several interviews and some tell me am too young, Others say am overqualified (I got good grades. To God be the glory) Amidst all this I made a vow to the Almighty, that I was going to be faithful. That I was not going to partake corruption in the name of a getting a job. I was not desperate because I know the God I serve..He owns all the jobs and was gonna give me the best! Am His child and I know what He says about me. In early June I had gotten a job with one of the banks in Kenya but in the end was asked to pay 50000 shillings as appreciation. The devil is a liar. I told them that I was Not going to pay. It was even reduced to 20000 but still my faith could not allow it. I was asked severally whether am a Kenyan and I said Yes, am a Kenyan but not an ordinary one. not because I didnt afford coz I would have as well borrowed from family and friends. Am a Kenyan who fears the Most High God.,and for that matter I do not give bribes in the name of appreciation. God has compensated me DOUBLE OR MAYBE TRIPLE as I write this. As it is written in Joel that He will compensate for the years the Locusts ate. In the three months so much has happened. Other prayers answered which will be a story for another day. There is nothing as sweet as being in the perfect will of God. To cut the Long story short, I recently got a chance to start my postgraduate studies, fully sponsored after which I will start lecturing in the same institution as from December even before I complete the course. Looking at this deal, it is Gods. My compensation will be double if not triple of what I would have paid for in June. God has enabled me achieve what takes people years to achieve. I am reaching my Canaan in 40 days and not 40 years. AMEN. Brethren and sisters, God is more than able to accomplish anything as long as you wait on Him, and stay in the word. The word is equal To God Himself. He Has done it for me. and am here to testify to both small and great. I will serve Him as Long as I live. To Him ALONE BE ALL THE GLORY.
