For He Himself has said, "I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5) God understands your pain. The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. (Psalm 34:15) God hears your cry. The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17) God will help you. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and though the rivers, they will not overflow you. … For I am the Lord your God ..." (Isaiah 43:2-3) God is your hope. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26) God will protect you. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) God is your Peace. He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord!
