From my email inbox: Hi Karri, I saw your post on Facebook about the conversation with your son in the cemetery. I wanted to reply on the post, but for reasons that are to complicated to explain, I cant share this attached to my name. Suffice it to say that not every one in my life knows about my angel, Scott. It was actually very brave of me to like your page & I share things occasionally on my own timeline. Every step is a victory. Anyway, if you could share this idea anonymously, it might help someone. I dont have a grave site to visit for Scott either, but I found a long deceased soldiers grave in a national cemetery that shares his name. The older graves generally (even in a non-military cemetery) dont have people visiting them anymore. So, I adopted this gravesite. I take flowers or flags or anything Id like to leave for my Scott on his grave. Ive had birthday parties there. You get the idea. But mostly, I talk to him. And I talk to the Scott who is buried there & even his mother. Its like a heavenly bond because I know that they are with my angel boy. Its comforting to have a place to visit. And it wouldnt have to even match names. It could be the same birthdate. There is something oddly soothing to walk through a cemetery reading every name until you come across the one that speaks to you. It has helped me. Thank you for your beautiful page. From Anonymous
