From my friend Mark Macdonald: For those who need help to stay present with where they are with their results.... A friend of mine just got back from a week of travel and her weight was up & she felt extra bloated. I think we can all relate to that. My advice to her & to you today is simple, just be crystal clear on the food & exercise phase you are in. This clarity takes all the pressure off & allows you jump right into the phase youre ready to rock. Basically there are 3 phases - 1) Your Survival Phase - this is when life is slamming you...travel, long hours at work, holiday stress, kids tournaments all weekend, etc...Your goal in this phase is to just survive & maintain 2) Your Progression Phase - this is when there is some good balance to your day, week, month & you can rock your food & exercise. You have time for grocery shopping, consistent exercise & your sleep is on point 3) Your Kick-Ass Phase - This phase typically gets activated after you fell off plan too long & are frustrated with how your clothes fit, the number on the scale or how you look in the mirror....In this phase you are ready to kick some ass and rock your food & exercise extra hard for a couple weeks. Then once you are feeling & looking better you simply shift into your progression phase. Being clear on your 3 phases & having a game plan for each gives you back control of your results & empowers you to take your body wherever you want! What phase are you in now.....share on this post.
