From my heart I say, THANK YOU LORD. Many have teased me, talked behind my back and to my face, called me gay and everything but a child of God because I am not married or have children yet. Well this morning, I was reminded that I dont have to be ashamed. Ive watched seemingly EVERYONE marry have children and get their happily ever afters but now I watch as they are in the middle of divorces, living double lives and children are living in chaos. I felt abandoned and forgotten by God. Im not perfect but I have honestly dedicated my life to God to wait for His timing. Public service announcement, there is nothing wrong with me, I just like doing things right the first time. God knows my heart and I dont want to live an image, I dont want to have a room mate, I desire a husband that praises me and children that call me blessed. Call me old fashioned but I STILL believe that I dont have to compromise to get my hearts desire. I am really praying for marriages and singles in this season. There are many people hurting and in situations that could have been avoided, it pains my heart but it also reminds me that its ok to WAIT. This is not an attack on anyone specific, I just have to openly and unashamedly thank God for my process. It doesnt always feel good but this is truly working for my good. # it has taken a minute but its my due season...smile
