From my heart to yours.......... Do you ever feel like you have fallen so low, with no hope that even God wont reach you? My best friend was there. Satan convinced him to snort a line of Meth up his nose one evening. My best friend did not know that would instantly addict him! Satan used one of his greatest lies telling him; Its okay man, one line wont hurt! Go ahead! My friend had a great job, newly married, and he looked like just a typical businessman. That night, he was hooked from the very first time, and that eventually turned into an eighteen year, one hundred dollar a day habit. Satan even convinced him he didnt need his church any longer. They wouldnt want a Meth head going there! His work and relationships started suffering, and his marriage finally ended in divorce. My best friend said he was on a spiral of either death, or going to prison for a very long time! Doctors say he shouldnt even be alive after using Meth for 18 years! There was one early morning he was seconds away from actually killing a man over a drug deal getting ready to go bad. Then it happened! God met him in the stillness of his soul one evening! Through a video that someone sent him, he watched a girl come up on stage carrying a piece of old cardboard box. On one side written with shoe polish, it read, Was addicted to Meth...She then turned it over, and the back read, Now addicted to Him! At that very moment, God instantly convicted my best friend! He said he could hear the Lord clearly saying to him, This is over! It is finished! He said he watched the video over and over, tears streaming down his face. His nightmare was finally over! Hearing what God had told him that evening was all it took. Now he gets to give his testimony to anyone that will hear it. He proclaims to everyone that his rehab was spelled, “J-e-s-u-s!” Talking to my best friend now, you can just tell how much he loves the Lord. He admits that he sure was too weak to stop the insanity without God by his side! I cry every time I hear my best friend’s story! It is truly is a story of God’s amazing grace! Oh! I almost forgot? The reason I know this story is 100 percent true? That man was me! I am telling this story of God’s amazing grace, not to be condemned, but I pray that God will put that one person in front of this that needs to hear this. Father, thank you for loving me enough to save an ole’ wretch like me!
