From my mom: When I left work on April 29 to go home and check on Jerry, because he was feeling really bad that morning, I had no idea of the roller coaster ride we were about to take. Three weeks on the floor, with three surgical procedures done in that time, to almost losing him last Tuesday, to eight days in the icu and now back to the fifth floor where we started out. Still has pnuemonia and breathing issues but not bad enough to keep him in icu. Have met so many nice people in the icu waiting room. We were like one big family. Saw four families lose their loved ones, while each of us wondered if ours would be next. Some went home, some went to the floor. Left two special families there that are still facing uncertainties. Asking your prayers for these two families as well as continued prayers for Jerry as he continues his fight.
