From my morning devotion: Ive been reading 2kings. I am intrigued with King Josiah. He became king of Judah when he was only eight years old. He ruled for 31 years in Jerusalem. He read the word of the Lord almost daily. He destroyed all the false idols. theres never been a king like Josiah, whether before or after him , who turned to the Lord with all his heart, all his being and all his strength, in agreement with everything in the instruction from Moses. (2 Kings 23:25) When Josiah discovered Gods word, his heart was changed and he renewed the covenant with God and made Gods word the center of life in Judah. I pray that God continues to keep me centered on His Word.
