From my own kitchen! My Mommas stuffed Bell Peppers. Healthy & Easy Stuffed Peppers Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic 1/8 tsp salt & 1/8 tsp black pepper 1/2 med onion diced 3 cups cooked white or brown rice 2 15 ounce cans of tomato sauce Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees In a skillet add hamburger, garlic, onion ~ brown meat till no longer pink Drain any excess grease from meat In a large bowl, add meat mixture & cooked rice, salt & pepper~mix all together till well blended. Remove tops of peppers and clean out the seeds Stuff peppers with mixture In a deep casserole dish, pour in 2 cans of tomato sauce & set peppers upright in the sauce, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 min. Peppers will ne lighter in color and a sharp pointy knife id easily inserted in pepper, they are done! Enjoy!
