From one of our dedicated volunteers: A shout out to “Tia” and “Tasha”. These lovely lasses were the AWS ambassadors at last week’s Alfred Festival. They strolled around, enjoying all the day had to bring. They met new friends, and brought smiles (and got endless pats) to many who visited our information table. Thanks to all who visited and supported AWS. It was a terrific day! While they didn’t find homes that day, we often just ask folks to keep us in mind, “if you know someone is looking for a dog”. That gives us volunteers hope and helps dogs like Tia and Tasha keep wagging their tails until they are adopted!”
