From our Annual Meeting,2002: To love with all one’s heart, mind, and soul is to serve God with excellence. This is another deep value we need to continue to grow into in 2002. Those who love God, for instance, are those who are convinced to the very core of their being that God deserves nothing less than the very best they have to offer Him. Nothing else will do. This goes for our building and grounds; for every aspect of our worship services, from ushering to lay reading, preaching to music, and so much more; for our childcare and children’s programs, and so on. We have made great strides in all these areas to be sure, but I hope you will join me in being staunchly devoted to continuing improvement in those areas where we feel by God’s grace we can make a difference.
