From our friends at Camino De Yara in the Canary Islands...#EcoCulture: All our herbs and seeds are wildharvested or homegrown, and of course 100% organic. For us, there is no such thing as weeds – we see the Healing Power and the Magic of our loving Mother Earth even in the humblest herb, and we strive to offer a selection that covers all your magical needs, and that shows the variety and abundance of North Africa and the Mediterranean. We make offerings for the Spirits of the herbs and trees that provide us with their medicine, and clean the places where we wildharvest of the trash left by less respectful people. We also grow and replant endemic spaces in the wild, and very much scatter seeds everywhere we go - as we take, we give. The herbs are processed with the utmost care, and without the use of heat (a very common treatment that, in my opinion, reduces the plants energy). Our herbs dry naturally on a shaded room, and are aired every day until they are dry enough and ready to be preserved in large sterilized jars and other appropriate containers.
