From our inbox- this mama could use some support: I mentioned a few weeks ago about the doctor wanting to do a scheduled section on the 19th of December at 38 weeks.. i met with the surgeon and he refused to push the date any later especially since I have gestational diabetes which is completely under control. I live in canada so we dont really get much say what doctor we have and my hospital down right refuses to do vbacs but the other hospital is a long drive away. So I switched surgeons but he wont let me go any later then 39 weeks cause he doesnt want to chance me going in labor and then ending up doing an emergency section ... Im so upset.. i also dont have money for a doula or anything.. my section with my daughter was horrible and I feel like I missed out on everything cause I didnt meet her for 3 hours after I had her, I was last to hold her, and I didnt even know anything about her until I asked my family when they took me out of recovery.. then i had a horrible reaction to the section so it took me twice as long to heal. Soo upset and feel like I have no other choice then a repeat section now. #ICANSupport
