From part of my sit down interview with Julie Bishop MP when I - TopicsExpress

From part of my sit down interview with Julie Bishop MP when I covered her trip to New York city in November last year. I was intrigued by a comment she had given in her address to the National Press Club of Australia where she called on television news editors to have more women in their 60s present the news. It struck me that just about every section of society doesnt make their over 60s as visible as they should be and asked the Foreign Minister he thoughts. Reading into the data, seems weve got a long way to go before making progress on issues like making sure employers dont tap their olders workers on the shoulder just because they think theyre out of date, as well as breaking down stereotypes to make sure those that are looking for work, can find it.
