From part of todays Our Daily Bread daily devotional: Today, believers need to trust in God’s provision. Inevitably, challenges of transition, new circumstances, and an uncertain future can cause anxiety. Yet the living God gives us this promise: “I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (v.19). No matter what difficulties we encounter, God will find a way for us. Believers, I can guarantee that we WILL suffer, we are told that in the scriptures. We are promised a better life than this life offers. Do not be dismayed when we are ridiculed, injured, thrown in prison, called names, even worse, our life is not here on this Earth. Do not be afraid at what life brings, stand firm in our faith, we are not alone.
