From poverty to the Presidents office of a community college...my life. A high school drop out and young mom at 18. I defied the odds. I worked one full-time and one part-time job....while going to school fulltime...to become not only a college attendee at 16..but to graduate with my 1st degree the same year my high school class graduated....then to become the first woman in my family to earn a college degree and go to grad school. Along the way overcoming domestic violence, depression and all along caring for a severly Autistic child. Im living proof of breaking stereotypes and overcoming huge obstacles. Where there is a will there is a way. And I am FAR from done.
