From the Broome County website: Sun-Briar Court was a racing and stable complex located on Riverside Drive and owned by local industrialist Willis Sharpe Kilmer. The $1 million complex included two outdoor tracks, an enclosed track, and a stable building constructed of stone. The complex was also home to the famous racehorse Exterminator. After Kilmer died in 1940, the complex was sold off for residential development. The clubhouse, the former 1820 Washington Whitney house, became part of the property of the Daughters of Charity who continue to use that facility.
