From the Desk of Principal Mayberry: Reason for celebration… As a school we have an obligation to complete grade checks at the end of each quarter to determine academic eligibility. At the end of this first quarter we had the least amount of students ineligible for extra-curricular activities. Congratulations to students, parents, teachers and coaches for your hard work to keep our students in good academic standing. Keep up the positive working relationships. Spirit Bus for the Amphitheater game: Coyote’s there is a spirit bus traveling to Amphitheater High School for the varsity football game on. There are only fifty seats available and the cost is $8.00. Admission to the game will be $2.Be sure to purchase a spot and pick up a permission slip during lunch. Be there to cheer for your coyotes as they take on last years homecoming opponent. A second letter will be mailed home this week with the same information your child received. The room assignments are posted on the windows in Mr. Denton’s office, Ms. Parravano’s office, and in the front office. If you have questions, please feel free to call Ms. Parravano at 480-882-3559. We will have college representatives here to present and answer questions about their institutions. (Sign up in the career center!) Oct. 23 - CAC Palooza is an opportunity to visit and tour the CAC East Campus from 10 am to noon. It will be offered to students on a first come, first serve basis. Sign up in the Career Center. Oct. 28-30 - AIMS testing for juniors and seniors who need to pass one or more of the assessments. NOVEMBER: Nov. 6 – 7 - Arizona College Application Campaign is from 7:30-11:30 am. All seniors will participate in activities that support college and career readiness. Seniors will be given an opportunity to apply to colleges in the library CoyotePride!
