From the Desk of the Ha Ha Birds: We had other material for posting that was announced, but recent events in Tanzania have shuffled them to later. The nabbing of the Mr Smith , alleged poaching kingpin Feisal Ali Mohammed ... Ali or Ismail. The Mr Smiths of poaching have always dubious I.D. As a know kingpin and poaching of ivory personage ... we wonder whether he was known or unknown to divas and historical poach nabbers, and if so why YOUR silence. Yes! leave it to the the Ha Ha Birds and their network. Interpol has arrested or held Mr Feisal for the link with the Tudor Ivory Seizure. (On an aside, the honest policemen on this one have been transferred where? From reliable sources in Tanzania, double checked by those in Kenya that investigate these things (at the risk of our personal security) this is the scenario. We leave to you the assessement. We hope that some one in Governance, especially in State House ... reads the bible on pharisees and merchants in the temple. We hope that Interpol actually kicks ass! Now to all of you, including those that are forcing us to watch our backs and try to hack our accounts ... this is the tale we get from Tanzania. East Africa pamoja ... not necessarily on morality and ethics. Consider the following! Alleged of course ... lol! When Mr Feisal Ali Mohammed was arrested or held by Interpol and Tanzanians, he was not alone. His brother Migori MP Junet Mohammed was also held. (Total silence on this one). To be remembered that Mr Feisal was involved with other persons (whose photos are online) in a trafficking incident with Ivory going from Mozambique to that Island UNESCO World Heritage site, where rhino horns and tusks are stored and then transferred to waiting ships. Lion Aid can be asked to identify the Island in Tanzania. This gentleman and the gang was released from arrest in Mozambique thanks to pressure from Kenya. Now consider that the sister of Mr Feisal is married to a Mr Hassan H. Noor. (worthy of investigation dear Interpol ... if they let you!). This gentleman that we have already named in one of our poachers expose was responsible for the Mau Watershed and has quite recently been appointed as a Senior Secretary for Devolution from his previous post. (what is wrong in State House or the consultants to state house ... I would like to believe ...????) A spider web of intrigue, alleged, but to be investigated ... as those that clain they know fawn support to words of commitment but are chicken (yes from the ballot papers scandal playing out in the UK) claim to know, but basically do not love Kenya and the grassroots ... impunity is impunity, corruption is corruption .. and do we really care about conservation and wildlife and communities living with it ... except fundraising and no accountability. naming names is the first step in accountability! Serious doubts about extradition or prosecution remain, despite a shuffle in security bosses in Kenya. Sometimes marionettes have more than one string puller.
