From the Desk of the Producer: Weve finally done it! Maybank is Malaysias Graduate Employer of the Year. All the hard work, all the dedication, all the passion have paid off. Not only we won, we obliterated the competition. It has been a good year for us. Whilst some found it too hard to defend their overall position and even surrendering the captainship of their own sectors, we are growing from strength to strength winning our 4th consecutive Banking & Finance title. And someone whispered to me after our historic win that defending the top position is even more difficult than winning it, I couldnt agree more - BRING IT ON! WE ARE READY! And the same whisperer told me some were deliberate not to focus on M100, thats why they lost but they are moving on to other awards. Made me cringe because the grapes were not so sweet :) Well, Maybank already won Gold in the HR Excellence Award for Graduate Development in Singapore earlier this year beating the likes of Unilever in their own backyard. Maybank doesnt move on to other awards, we were already winning them and not only in Malaysia :) And I am so happy for MGAC14 OCs, we won the Best Innovation on Campus for our beloved Maybank Go Ahead Challenge 2014. Indeed it was the biggest, boldest and best yet!
