From the Employment Readiness Program: Mobile Supervisor – Full time (30+ Hours) Shepeard Community Blood Center has been the local blood provider in this area for more than 35 years serving 21 local hospitals and the Joseph M. Still Burn Center. We are licensed exclusively to collect volunteer blood donations—blood products transfused into local patients. Shepeard depends on you and the community’s partnership in helping to save local lives. Has 3-5 years phlebotomy/blood banking experience to ensure donor return rates are high. 2. Exhibits excellent leadership skills while supervising phlebotomists and the work flow of the mobile drives. 3. Makes the donor a top priority by correctly answering their questions about the blood donation and promotes team’s excellent customer care to ensure the donors feel at ease while donating. 4. Multitasks: team’s care for donor, follows standard operating procedures, handles any team conflicts and reduces errors and destruction of collected units. 5. Actively participates in training sessions for phlebotomists to ensure that everyone on the team possesses the knowledge to run a flawless mobile drive. ~ PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD ~ You have an opportunity to share experiences you’ve gained so far which have prepared you to be that exceptional Shepeard employee.
