From the GCU careers service: As you know, the Careers Service organises on-campus employer events for students. I’d like to highlight this one which is happening on the 9th October. Third Sector Internships Scotland offers undergraduate and postgraduate students currently studying at Scottish universities an opportunity to gain meaningful paid work experience with voluntary organisations, charities, community groups and social enterprises. I’ve put the details of the event at the end of my email for your information. We widely promote our events to the relevant students by direct student emails and on the Careers Service blog and twitter. If students are registered with the Careers Service online vacancy system, then they’ll automatically receive notification about careers related events such as this and others. I’d be grateful if you would continue to encourage your students to register with the Careers Service’s online vacancy system gcu.prospects.ac.uk/index.html so that they don’t miss out on careers events and placement and graduate job opportunities.
