From the GROUP.. a post that says a lot!!! ................................ More needs to go from profits for shareholders in NSP to maintenance and debt reduction for NSP. We run a family company and we have to pay down our debt and make improvements before we see a profit as shareholders...if we ignore making improvements our business suffers in decreased profits and low equity increases ..As a business we do see losses and costs rise which we pass on to our customers, however we are not a monopoly and other businesses in the same stream can take over the business we lose if we put in increases our customers cannot carry. I PREFER crown corporations for providing necessities like power, natural gas. I worry about things like tree trimming and power losses in Nova Scotia..it seems there is a lot of weak infrastructure here..I lived in rural Saskatchewan for many years with power outages being rare and lasting days was unheard of( and they have crazy weather and storms in the prairies!) It was positively 3rd world what happened here this summer with outages lasting so long...I would like to see lower kwh costs less tax and efficiency programs!
