From the Hunterdon County, NJ - Department of Public Safety facebook page: The NorEaster that has been forecast to impact our area beginning Tuesday seems unavoidable at this point, based on the latest forecasts. If you have travel plans in the Tuesday through Wednesday timeframe it is imperative that you plan accordingly. We recommend avoiding traveling during this time altogether, if at all possible. Heavy rain, flooding, high winds, snowy and icy conditions are all possible threats as outlined in the US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Hollys latest briefing package. (As of now the wetter threats seem more likely for area instead of the whiter threats.) We have included the Executive Summary slide from the latest briefing with this post, but recommend that you review the entire briefing for a full, clear understanding of what to expect and when to expect it. This weather system WILL have an impact on Thanksgiving travel in our area so be ready for delays. Please share this post so that others are aware of these threats as well.
