From the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet: Kentucky 70/Beulah Road in HOPKINS County remains closed due to a mobile home and mover that went off the road at approximately 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening between the 14 and 15 mile marker. This is near the Richland community between Beulah and Madisonville. Equipment from TN has not arrived on site. Revised time on reopening the roadway is today. There is damage to the roadway shoulder. KYTC will maintain a shoulder closure until repairs can be completed Monday. There is believed to be some roadway and shoulder damage that cannot be fully assessed until the site is cleared. That could take the KYTC Hopkins County Crew additional time to repair once the mobile home and tow vehicle are recovered.
