From the Mythical Town in Southern India here are again few highlights of the place I was exploring which is a part of my 2ND-Novel , LINES FROM MANUSCRIPT : I happened to see a woman carrying on her head, a tied load of firewood’s. She was in her strange folk attire – clad in a bright saree wrapped in a different way, more like a dhoti. She tied the saree without a blouse leaving the back exposed, tying it like a halter around her neck. Her neck adorned with lines of colorful beaded necklaces, more like the South African tribes called Ndebele tribes. She also wore metal bangles adorning her hands till her elbows, a big nose ring and hair heavily oiled and neatly combed and braided to the back with a yellow flowers – it indeed looked fascinating as I haven’t seen then anywhere other than the national Geographic’s channel. Vittal said, they are the tribal community ( I will reveal the name once book name is revealed ). They are one of the oldest tribe in the subcontinent and are currently few in numbers. They live in the cornered outskirts of the town as a group among their communities and earn their livings by primarily working in gathering firewood’s for domestic purpose and going around the town selling them. Agriculture is still their predominant occupation. They also involve in flower collection, sell and distribution for the temples.
