From the Nashville Post: Nashville-based Giarratana Development continues to align itself with powerhouse architecture firms, many either based in Chicago or with a major office presence in the Windy City. The latest is Perkins + Will, which Giarratana would to use for a proposed 41-story tower current being referred to as Sheet Music. As originally reported in the Nashville Business Journal, the mixed-use tower would be sited on the southeast corner of Fourth Avenue and Demonbreun Street and run parallel to the Encore condominium tower. (Read more here.) Perkins + Will was established in 1935, and has a staff of approximately 1,500 employees working in 24 locations worldwide. Pictured here is an image of the Perkins + Will-designed The Contemporaine, located in Chicago. Relatedly, Giarratana development is working with Chicago-based Loewenberg Architects on its proposed SoBro luxury apartment tower, with San Francisco-based Gensler on its proposed Marriott hotel to front Demonbreun Street at Eighth Avenue, and with Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, also based in Chicago, on its 505 CST skyscraper proposed for the central business district.
