From the: Office of the Governor Operation Guam Cares to Help RP Victims Details at press conference tomorrow Governor Calvo and Lt. Governor Tenorio are coordinating Operation Guam Cares, which will be GovGuam’s disaster relief effort assisting victims of Supertyphoon Yolanda. They are coordinating Operation Guam Cares with the Filipino Community of Guam, which will be the non-profit group receiving donations from Guamanians and sending those donations to the Philippines. The administration is finalizing its plans today. Acting Governor Tenorio has called the Cabinet to a special Cabinet meeting this afternoon to coordinate the agencies’ contributions to Operation Guam Cares. Details on what will happen and how Guamanians can help will be released tomorrow,Wednesday, at a press conference in the Lieutenant Governor’s Chambers. The press conference will start at 10 a.m. Our office also will issue a release after the press conference with details on Operation Guam Cares.
