From the Pastor’s Desk Hi, I am Pastor Rick, your new pastor. “How may I serve you?” Ephesians 3:7 says: “Of this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God’s grace that was given me by the working of His power.” I am a servant of God, you are a servant of God, so shall we serve together. It can be a scary and nervous time when a congregation gets a new pastor, but let me put you at ease. I am here because God called me here and I will serve each and every one of you. I am not here to raise up the dust. The VCI team and I have a lot of GOOD NEWS for you and a lot of positive momentum for Kochville. It is an exciting time for me because I can see that VCI is going to lead us through some positive motion as a church family. We can all start by serving each other which will lead us to serve our community. God has placed Kochville in a prime spot demographically, and, with God’s help and our serving hearts, we can’t lose! Praise God!! Let me leave you with this quote: If you want something you’ve never had before, you have to do something you’ve never done before! Always remember that God is good—all the time!
