FADM Wayne Killough, jr. is seeking candidates to fill the Chief of Communications position after RADM Liz Woolf resigned due to increasing demands of her day job. This is a very challenging, hands-on position, having to oversee regular production of the Communique and even serve as Election Coordinator during fleet election years. CFO GEN Linda Olson submitted the annual 990 return to IRS on time. Fleet activities at large: CompOps is evaluating our options on web hosting companies after the recent issues with the current company. CompOps staff is also working around the clock to address recent SFI web site & database issues. There were some delays on CQ 177-179 due to postal permit problems. Fortunately FADM Killough was able to reach USPS and resolved those issues. However, this did require us to resubmit the print files to the print house. Your patience on this is greatly appreciated. FADM Killough is working with the IC 2014 committee to close the books there.
