From the Ranch: So... Nixon lied and it affected a few dozen.... Clinton lied and it affected a handful..... Obama lied and its already affected millions, with millions more expected. Since when in our country can people choose whats right for them, pay for it with their money, not bothering or imposing on anyone, then have their government turn around and call their CHOICE substandard? This kind of thing has happened before. Thats why we have seat belts and airbags. BUT, you can still drive a car without penalty that doesnt have an airbag. True there may have been some health insurance plans that were by anyones standards, substandard. But then there are many more that had plans that were fine for their needs having their plans cancelled because the NEW government standards, deemed them substandard. Now we get double talk? What happened to If you like your plan you can keep it, PERIOD Now its If you like your plan, and it doesnt change, you can keep it THE GOVERNMENT CHANGED THE RULES, THEY CHANGED IT, by instituting those standards. And their numbers keep changing. In the beginning I thought I heard them (those in favor of this bills passage), say that this will give 20 million people access to affordable health care. Then it was 25 million, then 30 million, tonight I heard someone now say 50 MILLION. What?! Were still being lied to, their numbers are inflating with no empirical evidence and its not affordable for many. What is evident, is that as of right now 3.5 million people have had their insurance cancelled. Projections are now possibly as high as 129,000,000 people will have their insurance cancelled. This is a disaster, granted to us by the Nancy, The Pop-eyed Witch and her band of cronies.... all at the behest of the Wizard with his genius vision for the future, as told to us by the Pop-eyed one. All of us, including you, Head of the Lollipop Guild and the rest of us Munchkins are subject and in this case subjects. The curtain is coming down, revealing the smoke and mirrors and the fraud. I have maintained that this bill has kept this countrys economic engine on idle, with an occasional sputter. Ive crunched some numbers of my own. Not all of this is attributable to Obamacare-less. But, the numbers are staggering. Between the years of 2010-2012, 7.7 million homes have been foreclosed on, again not ALL because of this law, 7,700,000 homes lost. Between 2010 and 2012, 4.23 million businesses and individuals have filed bankruptcy, again not ALL because of this law. But numbers dont lie. The economy is in a forced coma like state, and on life support, so expect both of those numbers to go higher, were not out of 2013 yet. Our priority should have been on jobs, making the conditions ripe for business, to allow us to get meaningful work. Not this debacle of a law, that they decided we needed. This bill should not be fixed, it should be scrapped, in its entirety, time to cut bait as we Munchkins say in the fly-over states. But why listen to a Munchkin?
