We use it in almost every part of our daily lives. This week, well study some of the fundamentals of this very important and very useful phenomenon. Youll make your own battery-powered experiment and see a cake being baked by electricity! _Dec 3^rd - The Game of Life_ Why were you born a human instead of an elephant? How does your body know how to grow? We have a special code that we carry inside our bodies that holds the answers to those questions and more. This code is called DNA. This week well decipher this code and even play a special game to introduce a very special type of cell! _Dec 17th - Electrophoresis Lab_ Piggybacking on our study of DNA, this week well take a look at one the tools that scientists use to research DNA. Gel Electrophoresis is a special process that uses electricity to separate large molecules like DNA.
