From the Virginia State Police: On October 7, (Tuesday), at 4:15 P.M., Virginia State Police Trooper R. A. Ramirez responded to a two vehicle crash involving a school bus on Route 3 at Route 605 (Bloomsberry Road) in King George County. A 2014 IC school bus from Sealston Elementary School was going east on Route 3, when a 1994 Dodge pickup was merging from Bloomsberry Road onto Route 3 and struck the left side of the school bus. The driver of the pickup, Thomas E. Morgan, 62, of King George was issued a summons for Failure to Yield Right of Way, he was wearing a seatbelt. There were no injuries to the approximately 40-45 students on the bus. The scene was cleared around 5:10 P.M.
