From the Wall Street Journal: The Army investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding Bowes disappearance and capture is ongoing, Col. Warren said. Unless he requests an extension, Gen. Dahl has 60 days, until Aug. 16, to complete the preliminary probe, an Army official said. The military has said there is no evidence Sgt. Bergdahl engaged in misconduct while in captivity. Since his return to the U.S., Sgt. Bergdahl had been receiving care in San Antonio, and earlier this month began making supervised trips off the military base, officials said. Privately, the Army said, it would make sure Sgt. Bergdahl isnt threatened or harmed in light of the controversy surrounding his disappearance. We take great care to ensure all our soldiers are protected. He will receive the attention and protection we give to any soldier, Col. Warren said. Sgt.
