From the Warming Center @ The Clinton Avenue UMC Greetings! Rev. Ken Walsh will be at The Clinton Avenue UMC (122 Clinton Avenue, Midtown Kingston) this evening at 7 p.m. for a Warming Center drill/test run. We will be open from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights (Jan. 2 and 3rd) Temperatures are predicted to rise by Sunday, so the Warming Center is not expected to stay open. However, before emergency circumstances necessitate opening, we thought a drill may be wise, and the County agreed. We have staff and volunteers in place for this weekend. However, anyone interested in volunteering may meet with Rev. Walsh from 7 p.m. on tonight and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday) at the church. Another training session is planned for the near future.
