From the adopter of our lovely Dory: Dory has settled in really well. She is use to our routine now. Sleeps in her bed in our room at night. Stays on her bed in the family room when inside during the day. I have taught her to ‘stay’ ‘come’, sit and shake, sit and drop and to give a high five. (She already knew how to sit, so she had been trained before) Dory is very intelligent and is by our side or under our feet no matter where we are. We are still trying to teach her not to chase cows and not to go through the paddock fences. She didn’t like the cows when she first saw them – they are a bit big! She can’t get out of the ‘house’ paddock where she is kept most of the time. Izzy is enjoying Dory’s company and Izzy sometimes escapes to her bed to get some relief from Dory! Dory is loved by everyone who meets her. She is very amusing- she will be walking next to you nicely and out of the blue she darts off quickly – to no particular place – then comes back. She loves retrieving balls and anything else that we throw. She has so much energy and has loved running over the paddocks. Unfortunately she won’t be running over the paddocks now until winter.
