Delilah Miller said it was a delicate balance of moving forward with reconstruction while still focusing on other higher priority projects that aren’t quite finished yet. “We’re trying to be sensitive to other people who are affected by the flood. We don’t want this to overshadow people’s personal residences but we do recognize that it’s a popular area,” Miller said. “We had to make a choice, and there was some environmental cleanup we had to get done there anyway so while the province was giving us funding for it we decided to use that instead of letting it go back to nature.” #abwater #abflood
