From the article Samier Dandan, president of the Lebanese Muslim Association, said the attacks in Paris were a tragedy. But Mr Dandan urged Australians not to republish provocative Charlie Hebdo cartoons of the prophet Muhammed. From an Islamic perspective, we dont agree with publishing offensive images of any prophet including Jesus, he said. All we ask is to respect our religious figures. Is that too much to ask for?
