From the ashes, we will rise, but we will never forget the many lives which were lost 9/11. This past summer our family had the opportunity to visit the 9/11 Memorial in New York City. It was a sobering feeling to look into those two deep holes in the ground where the Twin Towers once stood and read the seemingly unending names of victims which surrounded the emptiness. The day we visited, it was pouring rain, and clouds covered nearly every skyscraper in the nearby area. One, however, stood out despite the overcase skies, magnificent and extraordinary in both architecture and height. The Freedom Tower continues to rise from Ground Zero and stands as an incredible testament to the resiliency of America. God Bless the USA.
