From the desk of A Beautiful Experience You Simply MUST Take 20 Seconds to Read.... Every 60 - 90 minutes, I leave my desk and go for a walk. The reasons why total into the dozens. >> Ive learned over the years that I concentrate and have the highest form of efficiency when Im focused for 45 - 60 minutes at most. >> Being away from work - even for a few minutes - invigorates the crap out of me. >> Because life is meant to be experienced and adored without the standard issue of just migrating mindlessly from one task to the next. I could go on. But its hardly the point of this message. Across the street and around the corner from The Art of Inspired Living offices is a tranquil dead-end street. Old homes, rich natural textures and a general quietude that defies the urban setting were located in. And so I stand there. To breathe. To watch. To feel. To reflect on what Ive done and what Im doing next. Without question, some of the more innovative, inspired and successful ventures Ive ever taken have come after spending just a few moments on this particular dead-end street. My favorite home sits at the very end of the road. Old. Antique looking. Quaint. Sometimes, I just stare at it while in thought. And today, I was caught doing just that. A jolly, affable looking older man walked out the front door, saw me in mid trance and issued a warm smile. Understanding that a 63 tattoo-soaked stranger standing on the tip of his property may be taken as potentially threatening, I smiled back and said simply this - My name is Brian. I work across the street and often come here just to unwind. You have a beautiful home. Thank you he said, looking a tad relived. It was built in 1923 Amazing I responded. My parents home was built at the turn of the century so Ive had a lifelong fascination with the old-world craftsmanship. I have a photo of the original property. Would you like to see it? Within seconds, I was being ushered through the first floor of about the most charming home Ive ever seen. The original wood-burning stove. Hardwood flooring, complete with ancient oil spills. The unmistakable scent of oak. Im standing here typing this and trying to come up with a punch line that will land the point and help you understand what I know to be true. Here it is.... The energy you put into the world is precisely what you get back. Like clockwork. Every time. Be free. Be you. Be authentic. Be at peace. Live Inspired.....
