From the desk of Dr. Gas Station Attendent Guy, Truck pulling an older SUV pulls into the pumps, truck leaves. Elderly lady with a walker comes in, starts making calls looking for help from friends and family. 2 hours later, nobody called her back. and she becomes panicked. I bought her a coffee and asked her story. She was living with her son and he got them evicted. She had been living in her car for several days, family members promised to get her to Milwaukee and left her out in the cold. I dont always do this, but I put $10 of gas in her old SUV, and got the Subway manager to make her a sub. She was in tears! Good deed done! Question, What would you have done?? FYI I also got her directions and phone number to the local shelter here in town, where she told me she would go.
