From the desk of OC Scribe: Freddy just might have one of the best musical work pedigrees in all of SL Through some luck and a lot of hard work Fred ended up in New York City playing at the renowned club, “CBGB’s” and had the pleasure of collaborating with a number of music’s elite whilst in the big apple that included Deee-Lite, Susan McKeown, Gary Lucas, Pete Shelly (of the Buzzcocks) and last but by no means least the late, great Jeff Buckley. He is also talented enough to have had his music heard on the TV shows, Wall Street Journal TV, PBS, and even Sesame Street! He was also featured in Rolling Stone magazine when he co-wrote a song with Jeff Buckley. You might also be impressed to know that he was once a part of the New York band “Neighbors & Allies” that just happened to be one of David Bowie’s favorite NY bands. And finally some Freddy wisdom: “When you walk in the back yard be careful not to get dog dirt on your shoes”. Yes I will remember that Fred. originalscafe/OC/FunkyFreddy.html
